Thames Rugby Club are actively work hard to promote Girl's/Women's rugby at the Club. We have hosted several Essex County Games for Girls Teams U13's & U17's. We believe we are the only club in the country, if not the world that have a set of natural triplet girls playing. They are currently members of our U11's team. Our coaches Dave Northfield & Vikki Wright have established links with William Edwards, and are coaching their Girl's from 11 to 16 in an after school club. The hope is that this will form the basis of the girls youth teams at Thames RFC. but it is still early-days.  We have many girls playing in our youth teams from U7's though to U11's. The picture above shows a few of them, with our female Coach Vikki Wright. Thames RFC future plans are to cater for every age of female rugby from 6 to 60.
