Tying my boots and taping up. The clatter of studs. Tension. Anticipation. I know what’s coming. We all do. Even after not playing for while. But it still stirs me, like it’s always done. I’m part of something that matters, that everyone around me treasures. Why does it mean so much? Maybe it’s that great explosion of energy and adrenalin. The thrill of contact and scrambling for possession. A killer tackle. The feeling when it all comes together. Or a pint with your mates in the clubhouse. One thing I do know. FIRST RESPONSE FIRST AID COURSE

Sunday 2nd December 2007

The club on request of certain members arranged to organise a FIRST AID COURSE, which was well attended.

The Club would like to thank Mr Greenwood and our members for giving up their Sunday to instruct and recieve instruction in first aid techniques.

The Club should now have available at most times during the week a qualified First Aider on site to assess any
mishap that may occur, being able to advise or treat accordingly.

Making the Club a Safer place.
