Tying my boots and taping up. The clatter of studs. Tension. Anticipation. I know what’s coming. We all do. Even after not playing for while. But it still stirs me, like it’s always done. I’m part of something that matters, that everyone around me treasures. Why does it mean so much? Maybe it’s that great explosion of energy and adrenalin. The thrill of contact and scrambling for possession. A killer tackle. The feeling when it all comes together. Or a pint with your mates in the clubhouse. One thing I do know. THAMES LADIES TEAM 2008-09 SEASON

Thames RFC have been committed to devolping women's rugby within the club for the past years. This season it has seen the realisation of that, when the ladies team entered a team in the league. they did have a couple of trial games against Stanford RFC Ladies & one against bletchley ladies RFC.
We are looking for more ladies to join our team not only to boost numbers, but also to join what has now become a very social group of great friends.
The club is now looking to devolpe all the age groups from when girls leave the min's at 12 years to when they are able to play for the Seniors at 18 years. So if you are interested in playing girls/ladies rugby and want a friendly club to join please contact either
